SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- The Scotch Plains Fanwood boy's varsity basketball team helped out Jeff Mayerson and his Wolves Basketball Academy clinic for children with Autism and Spectrum disorders on Saturday, Feb. 6,
SPFHS head coach Steve Siracusa, assistant coaches Shawn Johnson and Ryan Cookerly, and their entire Varsity roster ran drills and the games.
"The players and the coaching staff really enjoyed themselves and were very enthusiastic," said Jeff Mayerson, who has run these clinics for more than two years.
"It was truly amazing watching the entire boy's varsity team and coaching staff have fun and really bond with all of the kids. I have been watching their games all season and they always play hard and give 100% effort. Today was no different. They all gave it their all and were fully engaged the entire time."
