Battle of the Bands Friday at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School

SCOTCH PLAINS-FANWOOD, NJ - On Friday, May 22, seven music groups will duke it out on stage to earn bragging rights at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School's "Battle of the Bands."

Each band consists of SPFHS students, who are selling tickets for $5 each. Any tickets purchased in advance will be entered into a raffle.

All proceeds will be divided to separate causes including: Amnesty International Club, the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center at Overlook Hospital, and the bands themselves.

  • The Grand Awkward
  • Comfortably Doug
  • Grover Cleveland and the Groove Crew
  • Double Replacement
  • Maple Street Monsters
  • The Up Cats

The event starts at 5:00 p.m. at the Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School and is expected to last a few hours. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
