Black History Month at Saint Joseph High School

The Saint Joseph High School Umoja Club celebrated Black History Month through researching lesser-known African-American leaders. In doing so, the students gained a deeper understanding of these people and the important contributions that they have made in our country.

The students reflected on how certain African-American leaders influenced them and the impression that these leaders made on them as high school students.

A display board of information was created by the club for the entire school community to enhance their knowledge of African-American leadership.
