RAHWAY, NJ -- In a battle of two of the top boys basketball teams in the area, Rahway, 15-2 (9-1 in the conference) topped the visiting Raiders by a score of 49-35, which dropped Scotch Plains-Fanwood to 18-2 (8-2 in the conference).

Rahway's Keyshawn Cummings led all scorers with 12 points. Zion Pendleton added 10 points while Denzel Cooper and Nicolas Galette scored eight for the Indians. 

Lamont Cruse and Tommy Drubulis both scored eight points for Scotch Plains-Fanwood, which was held scoreless during an 8-0 first quarter before rallying to get back in the game in the second quarter.

The Raiders return to action on Thursday, Feb. 9 when they host Hillside (weather permitting).
