SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- Jon DiDario put on one of the most electrifying offensive shows in Union Catholic boys soccer history on Monday.

The senior star erupted for all six of Union Catholic's goals as the Vikings defeated Hillside, 6-3.

DiDario, one of the top players in Union County, had a hat trick in each half, including one goal off a header.

UC also picked up two assists from both Julien Pereira and Jahi Dillard, and one assist each from Brian Espinosa and Matthew Costeira as the Vikings outshot Hillside (4-7-1), 16-7.

It was the second straight win for the Vikings, who evened its season record a 6-6-1.
