ROSELLE, NJ -- Union Catholic scored three unanswered goals and dominated play on the way to a 3-1 boys soccer victory over Roselle on Thursday in Roselle.

The Vikings (2-2-1 on the season) grabbed a 1-0 halftime lead on a goal by Dan Mota. UC received second half goals from Mark Pita and Sebastian Moralez to put the game away.  The Vikings also received strong games from Jon DiDario (two assists), Conor Reilly (six saves) and Teddy Amo (one assist).

The UC boys soccer team will be back in action on Sept.  23 at Roselle Park.
