CRANFORD, NJ – Senior Sean Hough had a career day by winning the 100 Butterfly and 500 Freestyle, anchoring the winning 200 Medley Relay and swimming a leg of the first place-finishing 200 Freestyle Relay.
The veteran set a winning example for the rest of the team, which won every event except the 100 Backstroke at Cranford Memorial Pool on Tuesday as the Raiders won by a margin of 118-52.
Freshman Aidan Trenery won the 200 Freestyle and swam in two winning relays, while fellow frosh Corey He won the 200 IM and 100 Breaststroke, in addition to swimming on the 200 Medley and 200 Freestyle Relay teams. Sophomores Matt London (50 Freestyle) and Sean Merkle (100 Freestyle) also finished first in their individual races and on relay squads.
Thomas Cutro was responsible for Cranford’s lone victory with a win in the 100 Backstroke.
“Cranford was a good meet for both our boys and girls teams,” said Coach Jess Hulnik following her teams’ dominating performances on Tuesday on the road.
