Boys Track and Field: Union Catholic Places 10th in Sprint Medley Relay at Nationals

NEW YORK, NY -- The Union Catholic boys sprint medley relay squad turned in a strong performance at the New Balance National Championships on Saturday when the Vikings placed 10th in 3:33.02 at the New Balance Track and Field Center in the 168th Street Armory.

The foursome of Daryl Miller (200 leg), Makay Johnson (200 leg), Elijah Brown (49.39 for 400), and Justin Cadas (1:58.30) shared the baton for UC. The time of 3:33.02 by the Vikings is the third fastest time by a New Jersey team this season.

The Vikings also received a 13th place finish from Brandon Patterson in the shot put with a throw of  56-10 3/4, and the shuttle hurdle team ran 31.75 to finish 15th.
