Brunner Elementary School Students Raise Over $500 Through Lemonade Stand

FANWOOD, NJ – Three students from Brunner Elementary School ran a lemonade stand in front of a Fanwood home on Saturday, July 22 to raise $529 for the Children’s Specialized Hospital in Mountainside.

Olivia Haley, Ian Weisholtz and Dante Castronuovo, classmates in Mrs. Amber Jarrett’s kindergarten class last year, came up with the idea at the end of the school year.

On Tuesday, August 1, the trio of students presented a check to the Children’s Specialized Hospital to complete their charitable gesture. is Scotch Plains-Fanwood’s only free daily paper.
