FANWOOD, NJ -- It was a family affair at the first anniversary celebration of the Seafare Chippery on Saturday, Nov. 1st.

Fanwood Mayor Colleen Mahr and Assemblywoman Linda Stender, joined Brian Walter, his mom, Rita (AKA The Chippery Lobster) and hios business partner Deanna [LAST] at the eatery to celebrate a successful first year. Walter sampled his famous fish & chips, clam chowder, lobster bisque, corn dogs, and other menu items under a big tent for a food-filled festival on an otherwise dreary day.

"We used a science lab to recreate the original Chippery batter from the 1970s that people loved," said Brian Walter, owner of the Seafare Chippery and Oh Brian's Pourhouse on South Ave. in Fanwood.
