FANWOOD, NJ - Fanwood Mayor, Colleen Mahr, and members of the Fanwood Council, graciously welcomed CKO Kickboxing to the business community with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, July 13, 2013.
“We are thrilled with the reception and feedback we’re getting from the community. We’re so glad to be in this Fanwood location,” said Steve Johnson, owner of CKO Kickboxing – Fanwood.
Kickboxing is an intense workout that burns about 1,200 calories an hour and is designed to get results quickly. “I'm happy to say, we already have a client who lost 13 pounds the first month working out,” said Samantha Erlichman.
CEO and founder of the CKO franchise, Joe Andreula, also came to the Fanwood opening. "Steve and Samantha have really embraced the concept and they're seeing the results from their clients. I’m so proud of what they are doing here. They truly have the heart and determination to change people’s lives,” said Andreula.
Since the soft opening last month, CKO Kickboxing has already hired several additional trainers and is doing cross promotions with nutritionist, Sharon Goldner, and massage therapist (and former Jets cheerleader) Elizabeth Schultz - both of the Wellness Group in Fanwood.
CKO Kickboxing is located at 25 South, in the same building as the new brick oven pizza place, 25 South, and across the street from the newly relocated and family owned medical supply company, Williams Lift Company.
