Club West Helping Hurricane Sandy Victims

FANWOOD, NJ - Club West on South Avenue in Fanwood just recently got their heat and lights back on, thanks to the efforts of many people working hard to get all the homes and businesses back up and running. They are conducting a clothing and food drive on Sunday from 9 am to noon.

“We want you to know we are here for you, we offer a warm place to come in and get out of the cold and a free hot energizing green herbal tea that will help you tackle the day. Additionally, for those that want to linger longer we offer a comfy place to rest at our smoothie bar and enjoy free WiFi.,” said Cindy West.  

Club West will also be working diligently to help replenish food pantries locally and also providing a clothing drive. “Many of our weight challengers have dropped in sizes and have asked if they can donate their clothes to others now is the time to make those donations.  Club West will be open on Sunday’s through November from 9-12 to act as a collection place for both clothing and food.

“We request that all clothes be bagged and labeled by size and all food be non perishable items.  Please check the expiry dates and please do no donate anything in glass containers.”\
