SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- As Thanksgiving approached, students at the JA Coles Elementary School in Scotch Plains were busy helping others in need.

Students donated many different types of food which were used to provide meals and pantry items for 10 families this holiday season! Meals were distributed to local families as well as our neighbors in need. The generous donations filled many family tables this year at Thanksgiving.

Additionally, we were lucky enough to once again collect enough food to also feed local families through the holidays in December.

The Coles Kids Care program, sponsored by the JA Coles PTA, was created to give back to those in need in our community throughout the school year and continues to be so very successful thanks to our PTA committee leads and volunteers.
