Columbia Bank Opens Branch in Downtown Westfield

WESTFIELD, NJ — Columbia Bank celebrated the opening of its new office at 251 North Ave. West in Downtown Westfield with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday.

The Westfield office is one of almost 50 full-service Columbia Bank offices located throughout New Jersey, according to the company.

“Westfield is a wonderful community,” Thomas Kemly, CEO of Columbia Bank, said. “As a community bank, Westfield and Columbia are going to be a good match.”

Located next to the commuter train station and municipal parking lot, Columbia Bank’s new Westfield office has been designed around an enhanced customer experience featuring the latest in banking technology, including a video message screen, digital rate display and an “Intelligent ATM.”

The bank will hold a grand-opening celebration Saturday, June 30, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with an exclusive free gift given to the first 100 visitors. Throughout the day complimentary food, soft drinks and promotional items will be available,while supplies last. Columbia Bank's grand opening specials include high yield checking with an opening bonus, special high rate certificates of deposit (CDs) and their Kid’s Count Savings Account with a matching contribution up to $100.
