Congregation Beth Israel to Hold Hanukkah Party

CBI Hanukkah Party on Dec. 21

SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- Congregation Beth Israel in Scotch Plains will host its annual Hanukkah party on Sunday, Dec. 21, from 10:30 a.m. until noon.  The event is free and open to the community.

Co-sponsored by Congregation Beth Israel’s Sisterhood and Men’s Club, the Hanukkah party will feature musical entertainment, a magic show, food and games for the whole family.

“The school children are eager to celebrate Hanukkah with our synagogue family and with the entire community,” said Gail Beckman Buchbinder, Education Director of Congregation Beth Israel.

No advance registration is required for the party. It is requested that participants bring a kosher canned good to be donated to Union County's kosher food pantry, operated by Jewish Family Service.
