SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- Councilman Llewellyn Jones will offer "mobile office hours" on Saturday, Feb. 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon at the Scotch Plains Municipal Building, Council Chambers, first floor.
Jones will be available to answer questions about the Downtown Business District, parking Issues, property taxes and other concerns.
"I know many people, particularly commuters and people with young kids, can't make it to town council meetings to ask questions of their elected representatives. Sometimes you need a chance for a dialogue, and email isn't enough," said Jones, who has hosted several "mobile office hours" since being reelected to the Council.
"This is a chance for people to stop in and go a little more in depth on whatever issue is of interest to them. I've been doing this every couple months since last summer, and each time the office hours have been well attended. As long as there's demand, I'll keep doing it," he added.
