SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- Darby Road will host PAL Day on Sunday, August 20, from 11:00 a.m. onward in the Pub and Beer Garden to benefit the Scotch Plains/Fanwood PAL.

"Darby Road has long supported the Scotch Plains-Fanwood PAL, and thought we would help them out by donating part of the proceeds from our Beer Garden on Sunday," said Joe Mortarulo, owner of Darby Road.

The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Police Athletic League (PAL) was founded in 1991 as a volunteer organization. The organization aims to develop friendly relationships between youngsters and the police officers and a spirit of respect for the law. The PAL is committed to emphasizing skill development and personal growth and providing a fun sports experience for pre-high school boys and girls from Scotch Plains and Fanwood.
