FANWOOD, NJ -- Citizens of Fanwood will gather at the borough's historic train station on Saturday, April 23, to engage in borough-wide Earth Day cleanup projects from 8:30 - 10:00 a.m.

Children and adults are encouraged to become "Pickup Partners" and help remove litter from borough property that morning - rain or shine.

"This is an opportunity to join other members of the Fanwood community to clean up the borough," said Mayor Colleen Mahr. "Anyone interested in participating should meet at the train station parking lot, South and Martine Avenues, for an assignment."
