Dear Editor:

Clean, high performance electric vehicles are the wave of the future. From cars to scooters, they will be everywhere enhancing our ability to get to where we need to go quietly and with zero emissions.

I currently drive a hybrid which is electric but still uses a gas engine to charge the battery. I love to drive my car, and I plan to make my next car a completely electric car.  Once you experience the quiet performance of an electric car that is all you will want to drive.

As public electric charging stations continue to grow, and as home garage electric charging becomes the norm, electric vehicles will be everywhere. Combining complete street philosophy with electric vehicles allows cars, scooters, bikes and walking all to coexist. As we redevelop our downtown, we will be employing complete street designs and electric vehicle technologies.
