Fall Youth Sports Commence

SCOTCH PLAINS-FANWOOD, NJ -- Despite 93 degree heat and humidity not seen for most of the summer in New Jersey, Scotch Plains youth sports leagues began their fall seasons on Saturday, Sept. 6th.

Scotch Plains Fanwood Soccer Association kicked off its season at various fields across the the area. Meanwhile, the Scotch Plains Fanwood Baseball League began its fall ball program at Booth Field (grades 4-5) and LaGrande Park (grades 2-3).
