FANWOOD, NJ -- Aimee Nuzzo, who represents Fanwood on the Board of the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce (GWACC), was recognized as Volunteer of the Month by Mayor Colleen Mahr and the Fanwood Borough Council on Monday evening.

Nuzzo was the driving force behind the recent Fan Jam concert event at La Grande Park, which drew nearly 5,000 visitors to Fanwood for a day of live rock music, food trucks and classic cars.

Her hard work and dedication made the event such a success that a return next year is a foregone conclusion. is Scotch Plains-Fanwood’s only free daily paper. Sign up for our daily eNews and follow us on Facebook and twitter @SPF_TAP. Download the free TAPinto App for iPhone or Android.
