Fanwood Announces Upcoming 2017 Community Events

FANWOOD, NJ -- The Borough of Fanwood has announced its 2017 community events calendar from April thru December.
On April 28 at 4:00 p.m., Fanwood will celebrate Arbor Day at Carriage House Park. On Saturday, the Borough presents Rockin’ For Autism at La Grande Park. Other highlights include the popular  Ladies Night Out (June 1), Tuesday Movie Night Series in July and August, and National Night Out on August 1.
New events include the “Fan Jam” Music Festival organized by the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce (GWACC) and a new Pet Fair in July.  The events will provide the public with entertainment and activities to participate in throughout the year.  The community gatherings and events will allow Fanwoodians to share everything the Fanwood Borough has to offer with visitors.

  • May 13, 10 AM: Craft Fair at Fanwood Train Station

  • May 29, 9:00 AM:Memorial Day Parade at Fanwood Library, 10:45 AM: Memorial Day Parade Kicks Beginss
  • June 1, 6:00 PM: Ladies Night Out in Downtown Fanwood
  • June 27, 6:00 PM: Party in the Park at LaGrande Park
  • Tues. in July, 8:30 PM: Movie Night Series at LaGrande Park
  • July 9, 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM: Fan Jam at LaGrande Park
  • July 16, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM: Pet Fair at Fanwood Train Station, North Side Green
  • August 1, 7:00 PM: National Night Out at LaGrande Park
  • August 1 & 8, 8:15 PM: Movie Night Series at LaGrande Park
  • August 15 & 22, 8:00 PM: Movie Night Series at LaGrande Park (time change: earlier start)
  • September 17 10:00 AM: Fannywood Day at Downtown Fanwood
  • Mid October: Fanwood 5k at LaGrande Park
  • October 22, 10:00 AM: Vintage Market at Fanwood Train Station
  • October 31, 6:30 PM: Halloween Parade at Fanwood Memorial Library to LaGrande Park
  • November 25: Small Business Saturday at Downtown Fanwood
  • December 3, 3:00 PM: Holiday Party & Tree Lighting at Fanwood Train Station
