FANWOOD, NJ - Cole Weber, a junior lacrosse player at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High school who has been battling an illness since June, has been in and out of school for chemotherapy treatments. Now, some businesses in Fanwood are chipping in to help.

On Thursday, Oct. 3, from 4 to 8 pm Martine Avenue will be blocked off and many of the Fanwood businesses will be contributing a percentage of all their sales that evening to the Weber family to offset the financial hardships that result from unexpected medical expenses. There will also be raffles and tricky tray items.
