Fanwood Borough Council candidates Kathy Mitchell and Tom Kranz greeted voters at the annual Party In The Park on June 25 at LaGrande Park. The Party in the Park launched the Tuesday free movie series, a staple at LaGrande Park for a number of summers now. Kranz and Mitchell also chatted with members of the Fanwood Rescue Squad, which was on stand-by duty at the event. Mayor Colleen Mahr joined them at the ambulance. Mitchell is seeking a sixth term on the Borough Council. Kranz is running for the council seat now held by Anthony Parenti, who is not running for re-election.
