Fanwood Fire Department and Rescue Squad Members Honored for Their Service

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The annual Fanwood Fire Department and Rescue Squad awards dinner honored local volunteers on Saturday, Jan. 17 at Berkeley Plaza in Berkeley Heights.

Firefighter Tony Grasso was recognized as the top responder for 2014. Brian Downing and Karolyn Buckridee were honored as the Rescue Squad's No. 1 and No. 2 responders of the year. Also honored were the Rescue Squad team that participated in a CPR call that saved the life of a Fanwood resident who suffered cardiac arrest at his home in December.

Stan Yotcoski received an award from the Fire Department for his 45 years of service.
