FANWOOD, NJ -- The Fanwood Nature Center will be closed beginning Tuesday, July 5, for the remainder of the summer, according to the Fanwood Environmental Commission.

The closure is required in order to allow the weed-controlling goats to complete their work eating invasive plants at the Center.

If observing the goats from outside the Center, please do not feed them. The Nature Center will be surrounded by a double fence, with the interior fence electrified to keep the goats in and discourage predators.
