At less than 30 miles to NYC, Fanwood offers a wonderful small town feel. Fanwood is 1.3 square miles in size with a population of approximately 7,300 residents. Appealing to young families, commuters, as well as baby boomers looking to downsize, it is the perfect location to call home.

Fanwood offers:

  • Pretty Victorian style train station at the town center and a bus line to Port Authority.
  • Excellent Scotch Plains-Fanwood school district with an outstanding music program, athletics, college ap classes & so much more.
  • Location 2.6 miles to beautiful downtown Westfield with great shopping and a movie theater. Never a reason to go to a mall.
  • Affordability for first-time homebuyers, mostly with a price tag from $400-600k.

La Grande Park is located one block from downtown Fanwood, with tennis courts, basketball, baseball fields and a playground. La Grande also has ice skating in the winter, family movie nights in summer, and community festivals. Nearby in Scotch Plains and Westfield, there are additional concerts in the park and farmers markets throughout the summer months.
