On 05/22/2012 @ 7:55 AM Officer made a M.V. stop @ Midway Ave. & Tillotson Rd. for a M.V. violation. A check of the driver shows an active warrant out of Clinton Twp. The driver was arrested, processed, posted bail and released. Defendant is a Philip Wharton 46 year old male from Bridgewater.
On 05/23/2012 @ 9:27 AM Officer made a M.V. stop @ South Ave. & Princeton Ave. for a M.V. violation. A check of the driver shows an active warrant out of Chatham Twp. The driver was arrested, processed, posted bail and released. Defendant is a Rasheida Knight 29 year old female from Edison.
 
On 05/24/2012 @ 11:26 AM Officer made a M.V. stop @ Martine Ave. & Portland Ave. for a M.V. violation. A check of the driver shows an active warrant out of Scotch Plains. The driver was arrested, processed, posted bail and released. Defendant is a Sean Struss 25 year old male from Watchung.
 

Between 05/18/2012 & 05/24/2012 a business in the 10 block of South Ave. reported a rental car was not returned. The vehicle was entered as a stolen vehicle. The vehicle is described as a 2004 Ford Taurus, color Blue with N.J. license plate ZFK-66A.
 
On 05/27/2012 @ 9:39 PM Officer made a M.V. stop @ Westfield Rd. & Sun Valley Way for a M.V. violation. While the Officer was speaking to the driver he could detect a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. The driver also had an active warrant out of Westfield. He was arrested for the warrant and at Headquarter's he further investigated for D.W.I. The driver was charged with D.W.I. & refusal to submit a breath sample. Defendant was released to a responsible person pending his court hearing. Defendant is a Kyle Harvin 35 year old male from Westfield.
 
Between 05/27/2012 & 05/28/2012 a resident in the 100 block of Tillotson Rd. reported a theft of landscaping light from in front of her yard. The lights are valued at $10.00.
 
On 05/28/2012 @ 8:59 PM Officer made a M.V. stop @ East 2nd St. & Terrill Rd. for a M.V. violation. A check of the driver shows an active warrant out of Scotch Plains.The driver was arrested, processed, and turned over to Scotch Plains P.D. Defendant is a Willard Harris 56 year old male from Linden.
