FANWOOD, NJ -- In recognition of Autism Awareness Month, Scott Matthews, Executive Director of Intensive Therapeutics in Fanwood, spoke to the Borough Council on Monday, April 16.

Intensive Therapeutics offers various programs for children with autism and other disabilities and is the recipient of the ROID Grant (Recreational Opportunities for Individuals with Disabilities).

ROID Grants facilitate inclusion in recreation and sports programs for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Scott was accompanied by a student tennis instructor, Nirmit Damania, 17, a senior at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High.
