FANWOOD, NJ -- Longtime Fanwood Historic Preservation Commission chairman Adam Kois was recognized as the borough's Volunteer of the Month by Mayor Colleen Mahr at the Fanwood Borough council meeting on Tuesday night, Feb. 16.

"Fanwood is lucky to have such talented professionals, like Adam Kois, who is an architect, who are willing to give back to their community in meaningful ways," Mayor Mahr said of this month's honoree.

The Fanwood Historic Preservation Commission identifies resources which are of historic significance and advises Borough agencies regarding goals and techniques of historic preservation. The Commission advises property owners, citizen groups, and individuals interested in establishing landmarks and historic districts.
