Earlier today, the state reported another 1,261 COVID-19 positive test results, bringing the statewide total to 157,815. Union County currently has a total of 15,475 confirmed cases. The Westfield Regional Health Department today reports that our number of cases remains at 92, and the Board further reminds residents that your efforts are paying off, and they encourage you to stay the course!
Every day, we receive more guidance from the Governor’s office regarding the slow reopening of our state. We are expecting orders to be issued in the coming days about summer camps, municipal pools, youth sports, and daycare.

It is important to know that the property tax grace period, which was extended by the governor to June 1, is fast approaching. The state requires that any payments received after June 1 will incur interest dating back to May 1. Below you will find an item outlining how to make payments through Monday.
