FANWOOD, NJ – Saturday was an interesting day for Santa, as he made his epic annual journey through Fanwood, handing out presents while riding on a large, red, fire engine.

The annual parade is made possible by the volunteers of the Fanwood Fire Department, Rescue Squad and PBA Local 123.

In the weeks leading up to December 15th, parents were able to drop off wrapped presents at the Fire House so that Santa could deliver them as part of the annual Christmas parade.

A special “thank you” goes out to all of the volunteers who made this event possible.

April 23, 2017

Dear Editor:

November seems like a long way off, but is it possible to at least hear more substantive ideas instead of recycling campaign rhetoric?

Presenting a litany of a city's or state's problems (and virtues) without offering any real solutions, improvements or original ideas is somewhat embarrassing. "Keep our schools great." What does that mean?
