These lovely young ladies were among 175 Fanwood-Scotch Plains Girl Scouts at the "Me & My Guy" Dance on January 31, 2015.

SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- About 175 Fanwood-Scotch Plains Girl Scouts braved the cold Saturday night for one of the annual “Me & My Guy” dances, attended by girls with their fathers or father-figures.

The event, held at Connell Corporate Park, was for Girl Scouts In 4th through 12th grades.  Kindergarten and 1st grade Daisy Girl Scouts enjoyed a “Winter Wonderland” dance at Mt. St. Mary Academy on January 25, and 2nd-3rd grade Brownie Girl Scouts will have an “All That Glam” dance at St. Bartholomew’s Academy in March.

All three dances feature dancing to music by a DJ, plus food and a portrait photograph of each girl with her guy. Girls attending this week’s event received glow necklaces and tried out a new “hot dog station.”
