Fanwood-Scotch Plains Y to Offer Before and After School Care


FANWOOD/SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- In September, the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA will offer a new program: Before School Care (7:00 a.m. until the start of school) at the SPF Public Schools.  

Before School Care Locations include:

  • Brunner Brunner
  • Coles School
  • Evergreen School
  • McGinn School
  • School One

Students attending Park Middle School may register and attend the Before School Program at School One, Students attending Terrill Middle School may register and attend the Before School Program at Coles School. YMCA staff will escort all participants attending the Middle Schools to school in time for the first bell.

The Y will continue to offer After School Care from school dismissal until 6:30 p.m. in the following schools:

  • Brunner School
  • Coles School
  • Evergreen School
  • McGinn School
  • School One
  • Park Middle School
  • Terrill Middle School

The Y Before & After School Care Programs offer sports, games, homework support, exposure to the arts, fitness and time with friends. For more information or to register, please contact the Y at 908-889-8880.
