FANWOOD, NJ -- On Sunday June 30, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. live bands, food trucks, and classic cars will transform Fanwood’s LaGrande Park into a rockin’ party for all ages called the 3rd Annual Fanwood Summer Fan Jam, presented by Two River Bank.   

This year’s music lineup includes: 

  • B-Street Band, the longest-running Bruce Springsteen Tribute,
  • Indie hard rock from Experiment 34,
  • 80’s favorites from Amethyst, 
  • Classic & current rock hits from the Fan Jam Jelly Band, a collaboration of artists from Fanwood, Scotch Plains & Louisville; and 
  • Three Piece Nugget, NJ’s tastiest trio.  

Adults 21 & older with ID can enjoy a front-seat view of the show from the Sheelen’s Crossing Beer and Wine Garden. 

“The first two Fan Jams were incredibly successful, and we’re excited about the positive attention this brings to Fanwood,” said Fanwood Mayor Colleen Mahr. “Not only do we get to show off our beautiful borough but also our amazing local talent!”

All of the bands are New Jersey based and most have roots in Fanwood or Scotch Plains. B Street Band lead singer Glenn Stuart is The Boss by night but a “Fanwoodian” by day.

Food Trucks: Fan Jam attendees can sample culinary delights from more than a dozen food trucks, including empanadas, wood-fired pizza, sausage & peppers, crab cakes, rice balls, cheesesteaks, Cuban, Latin and Asian cuisine, Hungarian pastries and ice cream.

"Everyone’s favorite food trucks have come back along with some new ones,” said Gene Jannotti, Executive Director of the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce. “There will be specialty foods for every taste!”

Car Show: The festival will draw more than 100 vintage and classic cars as part of a car show hosted by Hot Rod Mike. Portions of Helen Street, 2ndStreet and LaGrande Ave. will be closed to traffic for the car show, which is open to all. Cars register upon arrival on a first-come basis for a fee of $5.

Kids’ ZoneA centrally located Kids’ Zone will feature children’s rides and attractions within the park, with the purchase of tickets.

What to Bring: “We encourage everyone to bring their lawn chairs and picnic blankets,” said Fanwood resident and event organizer Aimee Nuzzo. “We have a stellar music lineup from beginning to end this year and there is plenty of shade so plan on spending the day!

Fan Jam is supported by several local sponsors, including Two River Bank, Fanwood Animal Hospital, Sheelen’s Crossing and The Goddard School.

Free Parking is available at the South Side lot of the Fanwood train station.

The free festival is run by the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce (GWACC), with contributions from local Fanwood sponsors.
