Fanwood to Host Go Red Day on Fri., Feb. 3 at The Chelsea

FANWOOD, NJ – The Chelsea at Fanwood (295 South Ave.) will host its annual Women’s Heart Health Fair on Go Red Day, Friday, Feb. 3, from 6:30-9:00 p.m.

The fair will feature sessions and classes that include:

  • Recognizing heart attack symptoms in women
  • Blood pressure checks
  • Mini yoga class
  • Healthy food samples

Vendors in attendance will include Scentsy, Jamberry, Be Craftful, Shaklee, and Chloe & Isabel. In addition, there will be raffles and other healthy food samples on hand.

This coming National Wear Red Day will mark 15 years since the inaugural National Wear Red Day, which was first observed to bring national awareness to the fact that heart disease is the top killer of women, according to www.goredforwomen.org.
