SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- Scotch Plains-Fanwood lost its regular season finale to Summit, 1-0, on Friday evening in Summit.

"We came out strong bouncing back off a 3-0 loss to them during the quarterfinals of the UCT. We went into half time at 0-0," said Coach Allie Neidig.

"Summit had a beautiful goal (by Sara Ma) to make it 1-0 early in the second half. We were able to hold them off with beautiful saves by our goalkeeper Emilia Saccento, but we’re unable to finish our opportunities offensively," Coach Neidig added.
