GARWOOD, NJ — New Jersey’s first Food Emporium celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday in Garwood. The supermarket has been open about a week.
“I wish you luck,” Mayor Charles Lombardo said. “It’s a great facility inside and out.”
Owner Kevin Kim, who owns four other supermarkets, told the crowd that he will bring good food at good prices and offer excellent customer service.
“I’m here to serve the community,” Kim said.
Food Emporium is located at 10 South Avenue in Garwood.
