Former Cranford Lightbridge Academy Caregivers Plead Not Guilty to Child Abuse Charges in Kiddie "Fight Club" Incident

CRANFORD, NJ -  Chanese White of Roselle and Erica Kenny of Cranford, plead not guilty on Friday Sept. 4, when appearing in court on charges of child abuse in the so-called "Kiddie Fight Club" case, according to the Union County Prosecutor's Office.

Both women had allegedly instigated fights among children who were under their care at the Lightbridge Academy location in Cranford on South Avenue East. 

As both defendants appeared in court on Friday, they indicated an intent to retain an attorney.The next hearing in the case is scheduled for 8:30am, Thursday, Oct. 15 before Judge William Daniel.

Earlier this week the Union County Prosecutor's Office had issued a full statement regarding the charges.
