Fotos of Fanwood Contest Now Accepting Entries

FANWOOD, NJ –The Fanny Wood Day Committee is now accepting entries for the Fotos of Fanwood Photo Contest, sponsored by Unity Bank. The contest is open to all residents of Fanwood as well as non residents and entries are due by Friday September 20th at 5:00PM at the Fanwood Borough Hall. 

The Fanny Wood Day Photo Contest is to select the best pictures taken in Fanwood. This is the third year that the photo contest will be run and over twenty five-thirty photographers have participated in the contest over the last two years.

Each photo of Fanwood that is submitted must be mounted and framed photos that are either black and white or colored and are at least 5" by 7". Photographers will be able to submit up to three photographs, one each in the following three categories: People of Fanwood, Places of Fanwood, or Fanwood Things. After the photos are submitted, the photos can be donated to the Borough of Fanwood or returned to the photographers.

"We receive a lot of great photos of Fanwood", said Fanwood resident and Fanny Wood Day committee member David Blechinger.

Each entry will be judged on Friday September 27th at the Patricia Kuran Cultural Arts Center in Fanwood. The winners will be selected by the Fanny Wood Day Committee and the public . The winners will be announced on Sunday September 29th at Fanny Wood Day.
