SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- In a Union County Conference Divisional battle, the Union Catholic girls dominated play and rolled to a 3-0 victory over Rahway on Tuesday in Scotch Plains.

The Vikings are now 4-1 on the season and 2-1 in the division. Rahway fell to 1-3.

Offensively, senior captain Coral Briber continued her red hot start to the season by scoring her eighth goal, junior Sofia Alves had one goal and one assist, junior Gabriella Martins closed the scoring for the Vikings when she scored on a free kick, and sophomore Isabella Robledo had an assist.

Freshman goalie Nadine Rouba made five saves for UC to record her first career shutout.  

The Vikings have a tough game this Thursday when they host divisional leader Johnson at 4 p.m.
