NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ – The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders girls’ soccer team improved to 8-1-4 on the season after blowing out the New Providence Pioneers in a one-sided 7-0 road victory on Thursday, Oct. 6.

The Raiders, ranked No. 18 in the state, netted five first half goals and were led by Alyssa DiFrancesco and Erika Muskus, who each scored two goals. Kerri McNeely had a goal and two assists on the afternoon. Isabella Corsaro and Maria Del Sordi also scored goals.

The Raiders have a home non-conference game scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 8 against the Millburn Millers (3-6) at 11 a.m.
