Girls Swimming: Scotch Plains Fanwood Defeats Montgomery, 106-64, Improves to 9-1

MONTGOMERY, NJ -- Scotch Plains-Fanwood responded to its narrow loss against Immaculate Heart on Tuesday by soundly defeating Montgomery and improving to 9-1 on the season with a 106-64 victory.

The amazing Maizes, Rachel and DeeDee, had a big day. Rachel won the 100 Breaststroke and swam on the winning 200 Medley Relay and 200 Freestyle Relay teams. DeeDee won the 100 and 200 Freestyle races and swam on the winning 200 Freestyle Relay and 400 Freestyle Relay teams.

Stephanie Judge finished first in the 100 Butterfly and 100 Backstroke and was on the winning 200 Medley Relay and 400 Freestyle Relay teams.

  • 200 Freestyle Relay: R. Maizes- Warren-Small-D. Maizes, Scotch Plains-Fanwood 1:40.57
  • 100 Backstroke: Stephanie Judge, Scotch Plains-Fanwood 59.81
  • 100 Breaststroke: Rachel Maizes, Scotch Plains-Fanwood 1:06.77
