ELIZABETH, NJ -- The Union Catholic girls tennis team continued its strong season with a 5-0 victory over Roselle on Tuesday at Warinanco Park in Elizabeth. Union Catholic improved to 5-1 with a dominating performance as the Vikings won all 10 sets and dropped five games in the triumph.

In singles play, Manya Trehan won at first singles, 6-1, 6-0. Ivana Wijedasa was victorious at second singles, 6-1, 6-1, and Kaitlyn Lowey won at third singles, 6-0, 6-0.

In doubles, sisters Maddy and Sadie Abood won their first doubles match, 6-1, 6-0, and Mia Boccher and Madison Truesdale won 6-0, 6-1 at second doubles.

The girls will return to the court tomorrow when they travel to take on Paramus Catholic.
