UNION, NJ -- The Union Catholic girls volleyball team remained undefeated when it rebounded from a second set loss to defeat Union in three sets on Monday..
 
After capturing the first set, 25-18, the Vikings, ranked No. 4 in the state, dropped the second set, 25-21. But UC played a strong third set, outscoring Union, 25-12, to secure the victory and improve to 5-0.

Alexandra Kwasnik had 13 kills, 11 service points, and four blocks. Olivia Syzszkiewicz had 14 digs, eight service points, and seven kills. Najlaa Williams came up with 15 digs. Abbey Ortiz collected 17 assists and 14 service points. Brianna Lamberty had 12 service points and five digs. Grace Kane registered 10 service points and six kills, and Adrienne Caceda recorded 10 assists and six service points.
