SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- Children entering kindergarten through the fifth grade are invited to stop by the Scotch Plains Public Library on Thursday, July 28, at 3:30 p.m. for a special adventure with professional storyteller Don Dougherty of Classroom Adventure Stories.

Mr. Dougherty will be performing his original story: The Children of Scotch Plains Public Library Go Wild in the Jungle!. This highly interactive story will have children running away from a stampede, swinging from vine to vine, rock climbing, and experiencing other jungle adventures. The storyline will also focus on an anti-bullying message while discussing the importance of staying fit. Children who wish to be characters and/or have their names added to the story should arrive to the program about 15-20 minutes beforehand.
