FANWOOD, NJ -- With the exception of some unusually hot days last week, cooler temperatures and low humidity are just gourd-geous, according to two local eateries -- Nick's Pizza and Rocko's Ice Cream -- which have both introduced fall flavors.

"Butternut squash soup has returned," said Rob Watterson of Nick's Pizza. "People have been asking about our soups since the summer ended. They love the fact that all of our soups are made on premises."

Nick's offers butternut squash, chicken, vegetable, lentil and many others, which can be purchased piping hot on premises or frozen to go.

Meanwhile, two doors down at Rocko's Ice Cream, pumpkin pie ice cream is now among the more than two dozen flavors that the ice cream store offers.

"Pumpkin pie ice cream is really popular," said Brandon Watterson of Rocko's Ice Cream. "It's like eating a slice of pie."

It is the only reading in the Torah — from the first Parshah of the book of Exodus (in which he is born) until the end of the book of Numbers — where the name of Moses is not mentioned. Tetzaveh’s opening words are V’atah ...
