SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ – This past weekend Able Body Spa had its grand opening at 328 Park Ave., Scotch Plains and Mayor Kevin Glover was on hand to perform the ribbon cutting, welcoming the new business with open arms.
“We are thrilled to bring a one-of-a-kind spa experience to the Scotch Plains area.” said owner Ruth Wolinsky. “At Able Body Spa, you will enjoy blissful spa treatments, including massages, facials, body wraps and new, state-of- the-art skin-care techniques. Our mission is to deliver high-quality services that will leave you feeling refreshed from head to toe. Able Body Spa is a place of wellness that will relax your mind, rejuvenate your body and renew your spirit.”
Wolinsky has worked as a licensed massage therapist and esthetician for 15 years and she has worked at DePasquale The Spa, Skin Deep Day Spa and for private celebrity clients at The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Madison Square Garden, and the Beacon Theatre.
When Glover asked her how she came to choose Scotch Plains for her business, Wolinski replied, “My daughter is here and I go to church at Evangel, so I am in Scotch Plains a lot even though I live in Watchung. I like the town and it just seemed to make sense.”
