Groundbreaking for Lightbridge Academy in Fanwood

FANWOOD, NJ – The Ajwani family of Fanwood held a groundbreaking for Lightbridge Academy, which will be located at the former Sun Tavern (15 South Avenue, Fanwood).

The Lightbridge franchise will be a daycare center accommodating an estimated 180 children. Completion is expected in the fall of this year. Mayor Colleen Mahr and Council members Jack Molenaar, Kathy Mitchell and Tom Kranz were on hand, along with Union County Freeholder Al Mirabella and Lightbridge corporate officials.

The parent company, Lightbridge Academy, based in Iselin, is a family-run business celebrating 20 years in 2017.
