GWACC Presents “Helping Your Parents Move”

WESTFIELD, NJ, August 23, 2017— Senior moving expert Susan Devaney will present “You Need to Help Your Parents Move – Now What?” on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
Devaney will talk about myriad issues that arise when helping your parents downsize. She will discuss how to tackle your parents’ belongings -- what to save, donate, sell, and discard. Managing sibling/family communication and conflicts will also be covered. Devaney will also talk about placing furniture into a smaller space and creating a perfect floor plan.
Susan Devaney, is CEO of The Mavins Group, a move management company focusing specifically on downsizing for seniors. This event is sponsored by the Women to Women group of the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce (GWACC). It will take place at the Westfield office of Keller Williams at 188 Elm Street from 6 – 7:30 pm. Wine and finger food will be served. Register online before 2:00 p.m. on Sept. 26. The cost is $10 for GWACC members; $15 for nonmembers.  
Established almost 70 years ago, the GWACC is the primary business organization in Scotch Plains, Fanwood, Garwood, Mountainside, and Westfield. The chamber promotes local business opportunities, economic development, and community growth.
